The ITUC Global Rights Index depicts the world’s worst countries for workers by rating 139 countries on a scale from 1-5 based on the degree of respect for workers’ rights, including civil rights, the right to bargain collectively, the right to strike, the right to associate freely and access to due process rights.

Freedom in the World annual report assesses the condition of political rights and civil liberties around the world. It is composed of numerical ratings and supporting descriptive texts for 195 countries and 15 territories, including an assessment of countries’ situation with regard to the respect of associational and organizational rights.
