The ILO’s International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour (IPEC) was created in 1992 with the overall goal of the progressive elimination of child labour. It produces country-level statistical data concerning child labour, based on national surveys and assessments.

The Understanding Children’s Work (UCW) programme is an inter-agency research cooperation initiative involving the International Labour Organisation (ILO), UNICEF and the World Bank. The UCW Country Reports are designed to provide an overview of child labour and related issues in specific national contexts.
