Description:

SYNADEEPCI is implementing activities against child labour in the Soubré region, in partnership with UNICEF-Ivory Coast and Save the Children-Ivory Coast. They are part of a bigger project, Work No Child’s Business

Activities:

The main activities are implemented in partnership with the IESCI (Internationale de l’Education Section Côte d’Ivoire) and include:

- Training of 40 union trainers on the concept of child labour and children rights;

- Training of 60 teachers and sensitization of 120 teachers on children rights, child labour and their role in the struggle against child labour;

- Creation of local monitoring committees against child labour
